Thanks, Bob. Hopefully I'm not getting repetitive. Purple and yellow seems to be my preferred fallback color scheme.
These three were painted at the request of someone else. He provided them to me already based and primed. It looked like gel medium was used to texture the base.
I can attest to the fact that these minis are small and challenging to paint. Finch's job is superb. I particularly like the color scheme, and the shading in opposite color washes (I presume they are washes). I can only hope to one day attain this level of painting prowess, however unlikely.
Love those colours, Im amazed that you packed so many painted details on such tiny miniatures. Its a pleasure to see these little ones so well painted.
Great! Love the bilious colours!
ReplyDeleteIn this case bilious is a good thing. Thank you, Gordon.
DeleteAwesome job Finch! Super sick colour scheme, love the purple hair. The bases are very cool, you make them yourself?

Indeed---the bases are cooler than the minis!
ReplyDeleteVery nice work, Finch! :D
Allan.
The bases are singled out for praise and I wasn't even responsible for them. Oh, the injustice!! ;-)
DeleteThank you, Allan. In defense of the minis, they're not without their charms. I warmed up to them considerably while painting them.
Just first class painting all round, Finch... and I too love the bases :-)
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, BK.
DeleteOh they are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michael. I'm glad you like them.
DeleteThese look awesome and the bases are fab proper creepy look to them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Simon. How the bases would paint up had me a little worried at first. They turned out well enough in the end.

DeleteYep. Lots of washes.
They look suitably creepy .... spot on with the colours. It isn't easy making bright colours look creepy but you did, and did it well.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kuan.
