The Worms Have Turned

Fractured Dimensions' Larvae are done. While a bit tricky to base they were certainly enjoyable to paint. I aimed for sickly yellow, as described in the original Monster Manual but somehow wound up with sickly green; a curious occurrence as there was no green paint used. No worries. I like how they turned out and consider them as a success.

No green paint... honest
Awaiting final assembly
Simulates barren shale quite nicely
Yikes! Two per base gave me enough trouble, thank you very much.

The product of my labors, in all their sickly yellow (or green) glory:

    1. Thanks. It was my first time using the mica flake gel as the sole basing material. Very happy with the product. I currently have a couple minis awaiting paint where it was used to simulate fallen leaves a la James Wappel.

    1. Very cool little sculpts. I did what I could to bring out their inner grotesqueness.

    1. What? You find the notion of giant worms with human heads repulsive in some way? ;)

    1. That's very kind of you to say, Don.

Just got an eyeful of the "Nurgle Demon Turbo Destructor Cyborg" on your blog. That's disturbing. This, by comparison, barely moves the needle on the disturb-o-meter.

    1. Thank you, Kuan. Glad to be of service.

In a sense I'm also leaving a record for myself. My memory's far from infallible.
