PTS XIII: Blizzard of '16

Jonas from space

The latest storm of the century has arrived, the Garden State is officially under a state of emergency, and, between shoveling, some painting might actually happen.

The view from the corner

Bael and his lady-friend (or is that lady-fiend) have their colors blocked in and some of the highlighting done. The multiple-red color scheme seems to be coming together nicely while the outline for some freehand on Bael's cloak (a Bullhead glyph over an inverted cross) is in place.

Should be gold on red when done

Bottom line: limited progress since the last post. Now dear reader, If you'll excuse me, I should be off to the paint-cave.

  1. A wonderful teasing post, Finch. Bael looks enticing good from your WIP. I hope all remains well despite the snow. Take very good care of yourself and crack on with that painting ;-)

    1. The main thing cracking this weekend was my back from all the shoveling. Wound up with two feet of snow.

Spring can't get here soon enough.

  2. Looks a bit snowy. That maybe a bit of an understatement.

    1. Food is for the weak. Hunger is temporary, art is eternal. ;)

    1. Safe but tired. I'm gettin' too old for this snow-removal crap.

Need to get back to work tomorrow so I can relax.

  7. Awful weather looks like. The only snow I ever saw was fake ones and even then it looked more like ice as I was in an awful local winter theme park that used huge air conditioners to simulate winter weather. But even then I was freezing my nose off. :)
Anyways ... I digress too much ... stay safe man!!!

    1. Pleased to report that I survived intact. It's been relatively warm at times this week so we've managed to have some melting. No more storms in the immediate forecast which is also good news.
