PTS VIII: Of Fiends and Henchmen

Just a quick post showing what's currently on the table.

The three primed figures are part of the Helping Hand Challenge. They should be made a priority so I'll have something to submit this month. The other three are from Fractured Dimensions IMotOP Kickstarter.

The mini on the left (with the hammer) is billed by FD as a bodak but to my eye it makes a great death knight (a marshal, as opposed to arcane, lich with demonic ties) from the old Fiend Folio. (It does comes with an alternate head which in fairness is far more bodaky.)

    1. You are looking at a 20mm "talking badger" from Splintered Light. http://www.splinteredlightminis.com/talkingbadger.html

  2. I like the fighting badger (?) Finch, and the other under-coated minis look full of promise too. I wasn't aware of the KS you mention but those models look full of menace :-)

    1. Yep, it's a badger... a badger who looks to be the object of that menace you've observed. Might want to separate that lot before he becomes lunch.

  3. Looking forward to checking them out! :D

FWIW, I prefer most of the demonic minis from the Fractured Dimensions KS over those from the Center Stage KS---they're more classic D&D in style/tone to my eyes (the CSM ones are good too, but generally a little too Hellraiser for my tastes....).

    Allan.

    1. I agree. Backed CSM KS at the lowest level possible just to get my paws on an exclusive mini that I quite liked. I went in whole hog for FD.

    1. To quote the little engine that could, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can".

  5. Call me silly but the badger (it's a badger right?) is the one I am looking forward to seeing you paint.

    1. I'd never call you silly, 4EM. Judging by the comments, the badger has more than a few fans.
