Collecting, Converting, and Painting Miniatures
Nice progress its coming along nicely especially with the halfling. I could never get anywhere with NMM. I seem to feel like it worked at the time i did (well ish) but then when I look back I'm a bit deflated on how it looks now :(. It looks good if you have the knack like your good self.
Thank you, Simon. The NMM "knack" is proving elusive. Hopefully practice makes perfect (or passable at least).
I must confess your semi-finished dwarf is so much better than my finished models its all a bit depressing... And I could say the same for your Halfling too. Fortunately I'm a positive chap so I see your standard as aspirational so please keep posting your ,most excellent work, my good sir :-)
Thanks, BK. I quite enjoy the goings-on over at Fantorical so don't you stop posting either.
Keep on plodding on Finch, you get there in the end. The WIP is looking great and NMM is not an easy bugbear to wrestle. I really hope you can find the time to finish off everything, it would be great for us all to cross the finish line at the same time, but don't worry if you cant make it, the only penalty is eternal shame :)
Ah, eternal shame. My constant companion.
Good colour combination for the Dwarf and it looks good so far. But I see you are teasing us with the untouched badger in the background. Paint him already. Maybe for inspiration you can checkout artwork on Discworld's various animal characters.
The good news: the badger's finished. The bad news: his unveiling awaits the completion of his halfling companion and his blasted NMM plate mail. As you've observed, I'm a bit of a tease. :-p
