The linkboy is finished more or less (on time and under budget, as they say). Didn't love the miniature at first but it has grown on me considerably. Having started late on September's Helping Hand Challenge entry, speed became an issue. The result isn't terrible but I'm not entirely happy with it either. With luck, I'll double back and fix a few things in the future.

Looks good to me Finch :) our schemes are pretty similar this time except you've gone blue and I went burgandy. I actually painted mine in the first week of September but then forgot to bring him with me when I moved! D'oh!

DeleteFlames look ok, it's more the sculpt that did not allow for more black (sculpt of smoke) to be added which would have provided more contrast. So technically it isn't your fault. It looks as good as it can be. Love the basket too. He looks like Bilbo or Frodo to me, must be his curly hair.
